Design, technical development, production and assembly of the Principality of Asturias’ stand at FITUR.
Proasur was responsible for the design, technical development, production and assembly of the Principality of Asturias’ stand at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) for the 2022 to 2024 editions. Located at the IFEMA exhibition centre on a plot of over 900 m², the stand established itself as a key meeting point for industry professionals and visitors over three consecutive editions.
The challenge of creating a temporary yet large-scale exhibition space.
Each edition of FITUR required the construction, within a very tight set-up timeframe, of a complete venue combining exhibition areas, institutional zones and professional workspaces. Proasur managed the project from start to finish, overcoming complex logistical challenges that left no room for error in terms of deadlines.
Immersive set design: hyper-realistic tunnels and forests featuring both natural and artificial vegetation transported visitors to the heart of the Asturian countryside.
Large-scale elements: a virtual waterfall over 12 metres high, giant screens and a photo opportunity in the shape of a train carriage reinforced the visual identity of each campaign.
Functional spaces: the ‘Terraza del Paraíso’, food tasting areas and media desks successfully combined institutional activities with the visitor experience.
A project that won the FITUR Best Stand Award.
The Principality of Asturias’ stand, designed, produced and erected by Proasur, won the Best Stand Award in the Autonomous Communities and Institutions category at the 2022 edition of the event, presented by IFEMA.

The Principality of Asturias’ stand demonstrates Proasur’s ability to tackle trade fair projects with highly demanding logistical requirements, meet strict deadlines and, year after year, deliver a result worthy of one of the most high-profile tourism showcases on the Spanish trade fair calendar.
